Thomas Jefferson wrote, "When one's actions do not interfere with the equal rights of others, the law ought not restrain him". This principle defines the limits of freedom as well as the limits of government intrusion into our freedom.
Consider this... no one can hold dominion over another and be of service at the same time. Either you are in service or you are holding dominion over them. It's impossible to be both! When law enforcement chooses to enforce a mandatory seat belt, they make a choice to serve the State AT THE EXPENSE of service to the people. Control becomes more important than service. Here's why... Mandatory seat belt laws represent an act of servitude and that is an assault on one's dignity. It is indignant to treat people like animals to be commanded. Furthermore, mandatory seat belt laws are not only an intrusion into our personal liberties but it also represents a vulgar mindset of rape to impose one's will upon others via violence. Unfortunately, that reprehensible mindset is prevalent among authoritarians and America has become an authoritarian nation willing to compromise many of our liberties and principles. Authoritarians define the rule of law as CONTROL over people whereas the patriot views the rule of law as a service to the community. Patriots believe "WE Don't serve the law, the law serves us." The authoritarian believes "Click-it-or-ticket" which means obedience at the risk of the iron fist - not as a service to the people. All of us have an obligation to abide by the laws of the land but authoritarians willingly ignore the Supreme law of the land that guarantees "Liberty for all". There is no such thing as Liberty without free will. Once one's free will is violated AND one's actions "do not interfere with the equal rights of others" then Liberty is being denied and THAT my friends, is unconstitutional. If our courts had an ounce of integrity, this law would be rejected on principle and this site would not exist. But alas, our courts have ALWAYS lacked integrity.since its' inception protecting the nonsense of the "3/5 of a Man" principle to the "Seperate but Equal" rulings. Unfortunately. too many hillbillies in America support this kind of illogical thinking for the sake of obedience. If not for better men, our nation would STILL be practicing slavery due to these authoritarian tyrants in America.
“The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but because of those who look at it without doing anything”. – Albert Einstein
IT's NOT ABOUT SAFETY
Furthermore, a seat belt can cause more damage than good when encountering wildlife on the roadways. A nimble deer is likely to crash thru the windshield of a car and endanger an occupant that is restrained in an upright position. That occupant will not be able to duck and avoid a collision once they apply the brakes. And braking is a natural instinct when trying to avoid a collision. Should we compromise our safety in order to pacify the authoritarian tyrants demanding obedience? Are we not allowed to THINK independent of BIG BROTHER looking over our shoulder? This is insulting to patriots and comforting to authoritarians. It also represents a vulgar form of servitude. As such, it is morally repulsive and vulgar to a free spirit that values personal liberty. IF YOU also believe in liberty, I encourage YOU to take action to reclaim the liberty promised in the US Constitution. Yes, mandatory seat belts are a violation of the liberty clause in the 4th and 14th amendment and thereby unconstitutional. There is no such thing as liberty without free will and free will is violated when mandated to allow the State to THINK for you. Maybe there's a better way to protect myself? Maybe my vehicle has air bags that don't restrain the driver in a prone upright position? The authoritarian tyrants will not allow such thoughts and they are perfectly willing to harm anyone with these independent thoughts. You MUST be controlled at all cost and violence is NOT a high price for authoritarian tyrants.
For the record, I personally wear a seat belt on the interstate highways that have barrier fencing to protect drivers from wildlife. But in rural roadways without barrier fencing , I choose to better protect myself without the restraining seat belt. Government has a responsibility for the "general welfare" but that does NOT include personal welfare. Your personal welfare is YOURS and YOURS alone. We cannot allow government intrusion to take OUR CHOICES for our own personal safety! The slogan "My Body, My Choice: applies to MY Personal Safety decisions too! The Thomas Jefferson principle regarding freedom supports this distinction. The US Constitution supports this distinction as well but authoritarian tyrants do NOY value your personal freedom. They value control. And the Courts in America do NOT value principle or the Constitution - they value profits. This evaluation is based on personal experience in the Burke County Courts but I suspect all of American courts are just as arrogantly hostile to service.
Fortunately, patriotic Americans do not support intrusions into our personal liberty and they oppose the authoritarian tyrants that our Fore-fathers warned us about. This site will promote personal liberty and help others expose the reprehensible behavior of the authoritarian tyrants in America. Best of all, we have some great ideas how YOU can support personal liberty in America and oppose ANY law that violates the Thomas Jefferson principle regarding freedom.
Service against oppression is NEVER a bad thing but serving oppressive laws is a disservice to our humanity. The authoritarian tyrants are NOT the "hillbillies" because they know better. No. the hillbillies are those who resist free thought as if THAT in and of itself is bad. How ignorant!!!!
